Label a diagram?

Hello

I have a diagram created in Word2000 here:

http://www11.brinkster.com/stevehigham/TheoryValueDiagram.htm

I would like to be able to label each of the three main grey shapes I have.

I would like them labelled so that the words, let us say dia 1, dia 2, dia 3,

are inside the shapes and are in line (flush) with the sides of the diagram.

The labels should look as if they are part of the shape.

At the moment, I am able to label each shape using a text box and I can

place this either in or outside the shapes. That is not difficult.

But my question is how to insert these labels so that the label tag (dia 1,

dia2, etc) that is, the words themselves, are parallel to the sides of the

diagram while being inside it?

Many thanks.

Steve

    • If you are asking how to rotate text you can only do it by cheating. See

      http://homepages.tesco.net/keithhowell/500dwp14.htm

or www.drawingwithword.com and fiind your way to rotating text.

Otherwise if all you want to do is position text horizontally, select your

diagram and 'send to back' then create your text box and set it to 'no fill'

and 'no line' and position it where you need it.

      Hope this helps
